Hola a todo el mundo. Perdonad mis meses de desaparición, he tenido algún que otro problema personal y no me he podido conectar. Pero ahora vuelvo con vosotros (la mejor pagina hispana de myst) para gozar de estos ultimos dias antes de jugar a URU !!!!!!!!!

Bueno por si no lo habéis escuchado, en la pagina de Tim Larkin (el compositor de las músicas de Riven, Myst 3 y Uru. Ha puesto un mp3 que recoge un poco de toda la banda sonora. Senzillamente impresionante. Con muchos instrumentos orientales (raizes arabes quizás) remezcladas con sonidos electrónicos.
Muchas voces humanas que acompañan (incluso una solista, gran canción).

Bueno, conseguí el mp3 de Burn you up, burn you down, por quien no lo sepa, es la canción que ha creado el incombustible Peter Gabriel expresamente para el lanzamiento de URU.

Está en un servidor mío, asi que no le pidáis mucha velocidad

En cuanto a la canción de Peter Gabriel: es Peter Gabriel, por tanto, muy bueno... pero... a mí en lo personal no me cuadra su estilo musical con el mundo de Myst (sobre todo esa canción). En fin, una opinión muy particular

En cuanto al sampler de Tim Larkin: simplemente espectacular... Más que raíces árabes me parece que tiene un poco de la influencia de la música étnica (en general). Y ésta sí me cuadra con Myst

Antes que nada, Peter Gabriel NO ha creado esa canción expresamente para URU. De hecho ya estaba publicada en su álbum "UP" hace algún tiempo. Lo que ocurre es que UbiSoft la ha "comprado" de alguna forma para promocionar el lanzamiento del juego. Además, Peter Gabriel se ha comprometido a crear alguna(s) canciones nuevas expresamente para URU.

Estoy con Icarus. En que "Burn You Up, Burn You Down" no se acerca demasiado al estilo de Myst. Quizá otra canción de Gabriel sí hubiera pegado más.
